Can Milk Be Frozen?

Yes!



Benefits of Freezing Milk:
          Reduce waste from milk spoilage
          Reduce trips to the supermarket
          Reduce cost by purchasing milk when it is on sale

Length of Time:  Milk can be frozen for up to three months. 

Color Changes: Frozen milk will have a yellowish color once it is frozen. 
                       However, once it is defrosted, the color returns milky white. 

Texture Differences: The texture will not be as smooth as fresh milk. 

Taste Differences: The taste is unaffected.
