How to Clean Stubborn Stains on Stainless Steel Pots

Stainless steel pots tend to get stained from acid contact. These stains are very difficult to remove. Nylon scrub pads will not remove the stains and it is not recommended to use steel pads. Products like Comet is not recommended either because of the bleach content. So what should one use to remove the stains?

The solution to this problem is lemon. Lemon will remove the stain! Just put some lemon juice on the stain, wait awhile, and scrub a bit with a nylon pad. I have personally tried this method and it worked very well.
