How to Prevent Avocados From Turning Brown



There are many methods but almost all the methods are based on keeping air away from the avocado.
The best result seems to be obtained from using a combination of methods.

Instructions:
1. Do not remove the pit. Just cut around the pit.
2. Spritz lemon or lime juice on the avocado. If you do not have juice, then rinse avocado in cold water.
    The acid slows down the browning process.
3. Cover with plastic wrap. Make sure there is no space for air.
    The liquid (juice or water) helps the plastic make better direct contact with the avocado. 
4. Put covered avocado inside a resealable plastic bag (squeeze out all the air before sealing).
5. Refrigerate avocado

This method should keep the avocado from turning brown for two days.
