icomancer is a folder icons composer for Microsoft Windows® operating systems. Its sole purpose is to help you to quickly identify specific folders among dozens to hundreds in your storage devices by embodying a special, easy-to-see, nice-with-the-eye icon you craft in a composition window.

Features:

• Add color to your folders
• Add textures to your folders: opaque and translucent textures
• Add pictures to your folders: set own pictures as embedded icons or portraits for your folders. 
• Add-on special effects and icons for content types: a list of pre-set styles for "normal" icons, image treatment, or, when you set your crafting picture as cover portrait, set the type of the content with an extensible list of add-on icons.
• Update broken paths and remove several icons from a single place
• Define new folder content types with add-on icons.

Content Manager: Manages and synchronizes your content 

• Tune up your image and icon libraries. 
• Content Syncing: Synchronizes your computers images and icons with your icomancer account

• Color palettes with variations and special effects.
• Texture packs to create opaque textured folders or translucent texture + color comps.

Share your creations:

• Free account allows user to submit creations to share with others
• Free account users can download creations made by others 

Portability:

• All icons set with icomancer are made portable. 
• Can move to an USB drive or copy them to a Windows Network Share as long as the folder remains in a FAT or NTFS storage device and is seen by any computer with Windows XP, Vista, Seven or better. 
• Other computer do not require icomancer installed to see the icons.
