     · Ginger
     · Grindelia
     · Gumweed (Grindelia squarrosa)(strong expectorant)
     · Horehound cough lozenges or tea
     · Hyssop
     · Irish Moss
     · Licorice
     · Lobelia
     · Marshmallow
     · Mullein Leaves
     · Osha (decongestant and expectorant)
     · Peppermint lozenges, ointment, tea (decongestant and expectorant)
     · Slippery Elm
     · Thyme tea (coughs and bronchitis)
     · Wild Cherry Bark
     · Yerba Santa Leaves

Inhale or Use in Vaporizers:
  • Peppermint oil with a steam inhaler.
  • Thyme oil in vaporizer
  • Inhale eucalyptus vapors

Foods to Avoid: 
  • Dairy products (mucus forming)
  • Dairy Exceptions: plain yogurt and cottage cheese

Cautions:
  • Don't use peppermint oil or give peppermint tea to young children.
